Assistant, President of Corporate Development

What we’re looking for:

The Assistant to the President of Corporate Development will provide administrative, executive, and organizational support to the President. This role provides day-to-day support, including processing expenses, managing calendar, and communicating with business contacts on her behalf. This role will also provide support to the Corporate Development team by conducting research and coordinating department meetings and events. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Arrange all business travel for President, and advance onsite event needs for President, guests, and colleagues (flights, hotels, car rentals, reservations)
  • Manage all calendar appointments and correspondence confirming and scheduling meetings
  • Interface with assistants in New York City and San Francisco in the coordination of schedules
  • Assist in managing clients, partners and other business contacts
  • Submit expense reports, time sheets and handle other administrative duties
  • Track, revise, and redline proposals, agreements, deal memos and other department documents
  • Arrange meetings, conference calls and video conferences
  • Attend meetings, take notes and help work on proposals as necessary
  • Responsible for documentation and execution of action items for all meetings and conference calls
  • Provide support to our high output Corporate Development team
  • Conduct research on potential opportunities under direction of President, Corporate Development
  • Coordinate and organize Corporate Development team meetings and event

  • Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps for business
  • Ability to maintain high level of discretion
  • Media/Entertainment industry experience a plus

Your experience:

  • Must have 1 - 3 years of previous experience working in an assistant capacity, preferably in Business and Legal Affairs, Entertainment, Corporate Development, or Investor Relations at minimum one year
  • Experience working with very high level executives
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or similar area of study
