As the visionaries behind Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Colossal Clusterfest, and Lost Lake, the Superfly team is a creative and dedicated group of storytellers, content creators, strategists, and experience builders. Our Superfly Internship Program provides an invaluable hands-on experience for those who want to work alongside a passionate group in a creative, fast-paced, and innovative atmosphere. Forget about coffee runs -- our interns learn the ins and outs of business development, influencer marketing, sponsorship, communications, brand marketing, programming, and more.
The Spring internship cycle takes place from January - June 2018.
About our Internship Program:
This is an unpaid educational internship. As an intern, you’ll gain experience unparalleled in the classroom. We provide interns with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills while gaining a deeper understanding of concepts through hands-on application. Working closely with their supervisor, interns explore their career field of interest, acquire new skills, and develop transferrable skills.
Each intern reports to a Superfly employee who provides hands-on training, oversight, and mentorship. Your internship benefits include gaining experience unparalleled in the classroom, exploration in a career field of interest, acquiring new skills and developing transferable skills for resume building, and establishing vital career networks and mentors.

Our Spring 2018 Internships will include opportunities on the following teams in Chicago:
Design - Our Design team leads creative conception and production of graphic design, experience/interaction design, and brand identity for our music festivals and client projects. Candidates should be enrolled, or majoring, in a Graphic Design program. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator is required and a passion for contemporary design, typography and illustration is a plus! Social Media - Our Social Media team delivers social programs on behalf of Superfly’s clients and manages social communities across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in brand canvassing activities to strategize on building client’s social media following. A background in digital, social or content marketing and a passion for marketing is a plus!
Technology - Our Technology intern will support in the execution of all Technology and Digital Marketing efforts for Superfly’s festival properties. We’re seeking a web savvy individual who is in-the-know when it comes to current technology, ideally with a good eye for design and strong user experience. Our ideal candidate is working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in web design and development, communications, or marketing. Bonus points if you have a fundamental knowledge of HTML & CSS, digital design skills, proficiency using core Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator, and experience with Google Analytics.
