EVP of Strategy

Superfly is seeking an Executive Vice President of Strategy with at least 10 years of experience successfully growing a strategy function within a top performing agency. In this newly created role, the EVP, Strategy will lead in the the development of integrated marketing solutions, brand strategies, new business pitches and ongoing strategic client work.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Day-to-day oversight of the strategic function
  • Craft integrated marketing solutions - leveraging Superfly’s expertise in experiential, digital, social media and content marketing and a keen understanding of the clients’ needs
  • Lead strategy function that will cut across three key areas:
    • Strategic storytelling for the agency and its growth
      • Help evolve our internal story that will resonate with potential partners and clients to support Superfly vision and purpose
    • Strategy for Superfly IP across a number of live experience and hospitality driven verticals
      • Lead thinking and ideas for creating go to market strategies, telling the cohesive vision and stories of our IP
    • Strategy for Superfly brand
      • Help set vision for how Superfly will manifest as a consumer brand
  • Partner and work closely with our Executive Creative Director on new business pitches, as well as a broad range of additional client initiatives
  • Develop strategies based on research, expertise, cultural and brand knowledge
  • Partner with Superfly’s internal teams in leading brainstorm and collaborative ideation sessions
  • Write and edit client proposals in presentation deck format, clearly articulating strategies, solutions and top-level executional plans
  • In collaboration with the EVP, People & Culture, build and oversee a team of highly strategic and creative thinkers and writers
  • Drive innovation and a best-in-class approach to cultural marketing

Your strengths include:

  • In depth knowledge of popular culture and the current media spectrum, including a high degree of fluency in entertainment and brand marketing with the ability to anticipate emerging trends

Your experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading strategy for a competitive creative agency and/or major brands
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative in a competitive business environment
  • We use Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Apps for business - you should too!
